Private Classes

We offer private candle making classes for a range of celebrations, making your event a truly one-of-a-kind experience and a memorable time for your guests. These classes can be booked any day of the week.

Private events are perfect for various occasions, including:

  • Bachelorette Parties: Enjoy a fun and crafty evening with the bridal party, crafting custom candles to commemorate the occasion.

  • Baby ShowersAllow your guests to create a candle that they can light anytime to remember the new bundle of joy entering into the world. 

  • Birthday Parties: Whether it's a birthday or a milestone celebration, candle making adds a unique and creative element to the party. Celebrate your special day by learning to design and make your very own soy-wax candles.

Our private candle making classes can be held at any venue of your choice: your home, your business, or another location you prefer. We offer the ability to customize your candles any way that you like in hopes that the candle-making experience blends perfectly into the theme of your event. 

The pricing is as follows:
- $40 per 8oz candle jar
- $60 per dough bowl candle

 What our candle making workshop includes:
  • 2 hours of expert instruction, led by an experienced chandler who will skillfully guide you through the candle making process. 
  • An opportunity to design custom fragrances to create candles that suit your unique preferences.
  • Each participant will make their very own candle that they will get to take home the very same day.
Some important details:
  • A minimum group size of 10 is required to book a private event.
  • A deposit of $150 is required to book your event and hold the date. Once the deposit is made your event will be confirmed through email. 
  • We will need to set-up at least an hour and a half prior to the start of the event and will need at least 30 minutes after the event to pack up. 
  • We provide everything needed to make the candles except for tables and chairs.
  • Each person will get to pick their own scents and embellishments to put on top.
  • The class lasts at least 2 hours - possibly longer if there are more than 10 people.
  • There will be about an hour wait for the candles to set. We suggest for the host to provide games or something for them to do to help pass the time.
  • There is a $50 travel charge for anything more than 15 miles from Fate, TX.
  • A final headcount will need to be given no later than 7 days prior to the class along with the remaining payment.
  • Once everything is confirmed changes will not be able to be made and there will be no refunds unless Fate Based Home & Body cancels. In the event that happens 100% refund will be given. 

Each host will receive a basket full of goodies all made by Fate Based Home & Body as a thank you.
